However, they do mention guys like John Piper, Mark Dever, C.J. Mahaney (sp?), Josh Harris, Mark Driscoll, and others. Many of the these rappers are doing pastoral internships at either Sovereign Grace churches or Baptist churches. I'm just stating the facts. The movement is not defined by "names is lights" but it is defined by CD sales and booking requests, and the most desired black Reformed hip hop artists in the America are not connected to the PCA and are rarely invited into PCA churches. You can look at their itineraries and see that. Sorry you're discouraged but if you have evidence that to contrary about where the actually influence and discipleship is happening I'd love to be corrected. The guys in the Sovereign Grace and Southern Baptist churches that provide a platform would be equivalent to guys like Ligon Duncan and Tim Keller promoting it. Until it happens on that level the black Reformed hip hop artists will continue to pour into Sovereign Grace and "Reformed" Baptist churches. I don't have a problem with that. The PCA is not the best place for everyone and it cannot and will not be successful at reaching certain groups. So what?
